Burlingame has been known for its automobile dealerships since the early 1920’s. Burlingame has two Auto Row Areas with fine showrooms featuring both foreign and domestic cars and trucks. The first one is located on California Drive, from Peninsula Avenue to Howard Avenue. The newer “Row” is located on Carolan Avenue and Rollins Road near Broadway. Mike Harvey, Putnam and Rector Motor Car Company are among the Burlingame dealerships who have become well known for serving the Peninsula.
